Changes
By the way... I made some changes to the blog... finding it a little hard to read.... the Ferris one is easier with the background i have on it... as the administrator, I can make alot of changes, I just made the text bigger, changed some font etc.... if anyone has suggestions, or find this hard to read, let me know, I can completely change the background etc....!!!
Weekend fun....
Karl had me skiing black diamond runs by the end of the day though, so i had to take a picture of me with the sign so that i would be believed that I was skiing black diamonds... no blue or green in sight!!!
It was a very nice day on the slopes... you can't tell from the pics, but the sun did shine out there, and the temps were great.... about 0 by the afternoon.
Today was a little more laid back... I was trying to sleep in, since I'm doing night shifts this week... however, I left my bedroom door open for the cats while Neil is away, but Dom didn't realize this until about 8 this morning, and she was so excited she sat beside my head and "PRRRRROOOWWWWED" at me then licked my lips. (???) (don't ask me why... but it sure woke me up quick)!!!!
I did my long run... 2 hours... today down in Fish Creek Park (the provincial park that is a five minute drive from where I live) that's as long as my runs are getting this year... not doing a full marathon this year, so I don't need to get too much above that!! It has been soooo grey and snowy and grey and grey here for what SEEMS like forever... today was no exception!! I can't wait to see the sun again!
Other than that, went to the mall with my friend... boosted the local economy a bit :) hahahaha.... found a very cute dress, made the mistake of trying it on, loved,,,, it was on sale......... and bought it..... what do i need a dress for??? ha. I decided I will wear it in Vegas next month!!!
I still have one more day off... go back to work on Tuesday evening.... hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.. nice and relaxing!!

The Weekend Again
Well, looking out the window it is still dreary and gray, but at least at 7:38 it is still light (kinda) out. I am really looking forward to warm sunny days with no snow, bike riding, going for walks etc.
Aaron is making "Lamb and Feta Strudel" for our church home study group tomorrow. Should be extra yummy. The group has learned that Aaron does all the cooking and baking. That is fine with me!
The boys are supposed to getting ready for bed. All I can hear is Tate talking. He never stops talking. He has taken over from Aidan in that department.
Had the boys portraits together done at Superstore today. The same lady does them almost every year and I think she shudders when she sees us coming. She's actually very good with them and takes lots of pictures and puts up with their silliness. Today she took 56 pictures and I found 3 that were "acceptable". Tate is such a card, doesn't listen and Aidan starts out good but eventually just gets tired of Tate's goofiness and his face reflects it. I'll post pictures when I get them.
Cut some more 2x4s for the basement today - in the snow. Should be done the basement in a year or so. I guess there's no rush, but I hate the mess. At least my ironing board isn't a workbench anymore (after I complained!)
Well, I guess I should do some studying. Test on the knee on Monday.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Tara you must by psychic. I was thinking last night that you should set one of these up to keep up on the Everitt side of the family too...Notice I mentioned that you should set one up, tee hee. I am not that technologically advanced.

We went out to the farm on Thursday morning and actually saw the critter that has made him or herself at home on the farm. I think it is a wolf. It was too big for a coyote and the wrong color. There was only one, and I think it is the same one that was watching me pick asparagus last spring, it ran away when I stood up and yelled at it, but while I didn't know it was there it just sat and looked at me. This makes me think a little harder about my plans to have the baby in the playpen while I am picking asparagus this year. I really do not want to be one of those stories about the dingoes running off with the baby. We also saw a red Fox too. Lots of critters. We were talking about Carl and the raccoons as we were driving into the yard, lots of laughs. Still makes me giggle.
Collin has to work tonight, so I am off to the city today to see my Mommy, and get some black out cloth to make curtains for Ella's room.(so far that is the name we have picked for the little critter - Ella-Beth Fae, but who knows when she pops out she may not look like an Ella) Should be fun. Right now I am cooking Collin's supper...pork chops with mushroom gravy, potatoes and corn. Nothing fancy. Collin is harassing me and avoiding studying... He says he is studying...just taking "little" breaks.
I still do not have the trim painted. I think tomorrow is the day, then Collin can install on Monday and fill the bedroom and empty the computer room on Tuesday. Then I will have to start all over in that room. It is much smaller, so it should not take so long. I am painting it a pale yellow, and making bright orange curtains with fushia and turquoise flowers. It sounds gaudy, but it is really cute and happy.
We had our pre-natal classes yesterday. I am not sure if I am glad we took this class I guess I am glad for the information, but ignorance is bliss... I am just not thinking about it. She is kicking up a storm these days. She will either be a ninja or a soccer player, or maybe a pole dancer the way she is wiggling her but around in there. I get to take another peek on Thursday. I have an ultrasound and then a massage... I am looking forward to the massage. Not enough can be said for lying on your stomach with your belly through that hole...it is true bliss. Next time I am getting one of those suckers for home.
Well I guess I should go and finish Collin's supper. Have a great weekend everyone.

Great Idea !
Something new to learn! We just got back from AZ. last Sunday..still trying to get use to this spring weather! I know what the crows must think when they get back to early!....I don't about being an early bird!

Soo... I've decided to start a family blog to keep up with everyone's lives... I started one for the Ferris side of the family about a month ago, and participation has been not bad, and I wanted to start one for the Everitt side of the family!! (Laurel, Aaron, Non and Collin.... all I can say is COPY and PASTE!!!) :))
Hope this is finding everybody doing well, and ready to participate!!!
