Hi all,
I'm going to keep this relatively short.... I just got off a plane from Britain a few hours ago and I'm TIRED!! hahaha...
I had a good/interesting trip.... in a nutshell, I met my college friend, Siri in Dublin, Ireland where we spent four days. During that time we also took a trip out to the west coast of Ireland, mostly County Clare, which was amazing.
We flew back to Oslo, Norway (which is where my friend lives) and our first full day back, we ended up being downtown and only a block away from the explosion that happened there last week .... it was an experience I would prefer never to repeat....
I flew out of Oslo on Tuesday, and spent the evening in London... didn't have time for much, just wandered a bit, and saw Buckingham Palace.. I flew home today, and here I am!

Congratulations!!!!

Congrats to the whole family on the new addition!! Although I know Andrea did all the work! hahaha...

She looks beautiful and healthy... it's so great that her and Ella are about the same age and will grow up together! I'm sure Ashton is a happy little girl as well... she sure has a big smile in all the pics!

Can't wait to meet her.... Thanksgiving for sure! There will be a record amount of picture taking!

Take care of yourselves, and have fun with having a baby again!

Hi Everyone,

Congrats to Andrea and Tyler on their new arrival. Hope all is well and you are settling in.

We went camping at a place called Willow Creek this weekend. We went out Thursday night and came homne Saturday as it was quite windy. It was a great place to bird watch and even the boys were getting into it.

Our weather has been quite nice and we have even been hoping for a little bit of rain to replenish our water barrels.

The boys are both in swimming lessons last week and this week and are showing some improvement. We definitely need to get out with them more to practice.

I am enjoying having the summer off before having to complete my diploma in the fall. We are going up to Waskesiu to spend time with Aunt Linda and Uncle Barry and Collin, Nona and Ella. We also hope to make it to Cypress Hills and do some camping. Aaron is also planning a four-day canoe trip down the Red Deer River for the end of August.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day long weekend :)

Here are some pictures from the Turner Valley Triathlon on Canada Day.... myself and the boys all participated (in different age categories, of course!) ha...

Both the boys did really well, and appeared to be having a great time. We came back to my house afterwards and had a bbq.

The rest of the weekend was spent outside enjoying the FABULOUS weather we've been having... Neil golfed both days (of course!) and I golfed another 9 holes with him. I went out mountain biking in Kananaskis country on Sunday...

It was another beautiful day! I've had a REALLY long weekend... I don't go back to work until Wednesday night, so I've been gardening, swimming in my friend's lake, working out and doing some errands in preparation for leaving for Europe in a week and a half.... when I go back to work this week, I will have my uniform on, helping out on the street during stampede... I'm determined to go out and enjoy, as this will be the last time I have my uniform on for quite some time, since I'm heading to a specialty unit at the end of July... :)

Cheers

Ella's Life Jacket Test

So, we tested out Ella's new life jacket out in the tub today. It works really well. We were going to go to the pool, but Collin suggested that maybe we should test it out in the tub first. We took video to document it. Here it is. Now she is ready for her summer holiday swimming and going for boat rides. She loves the water, let's just hope that continues.
