Ella eating Chocolate

So we decided that Ella's first Christmas would not be complete without eating some chocolate. So here is a video of her munching on her first chocolate. I think she liked it. She sure does not eat her broccoli like that.

We had a quiet Christmas day at home. We had smoked cod for breakfast, and some beet borscht for lunch, and a dinner of roast beef, potatoes and corn. Dinner was not traditional Christmas fare, but we will be having a big turkey dinner tomorrow with the Schultz Clan. Ella unwrapped her own gifts, but was more interested in getting the paper to her mouth than what the gift was she must be lacking fiber in her diet, LOL... not too shocking really, she is only 8 months old.
We are thinking of you all and hope everyone had a great day.

Our Christmas supper with the Ross's last weekend..... just thought I'd share some of the sights.... Can't you almost smell that turkey? mmmmmm.... it was gooood.... and Laurel with a LARGE bottle of wine... we've been trying to get her to stop drinking so much, but to no avail thus far... and yes, that is Neil with an apron on. He's stirring the gravy.... had to take a picture of that sight!

Merry Christmas!!!
Your grandkids are very cute... Brooklyn looks as though she's about to lose it though... too funny. I know Nona was hoping that Ella would have a Santa-freak out moment (she thinks its funny.... which it kind of is...) but Ella did not cooperate, and stayed calm and focussed during her Santa experience...hhaha

We're thinking of you! What are your plans for Christmas??

Hi! hope everyone had a good week and weekend!! Nona, love the pics, thanks! She's getting so big!!
I've finished the first week of my course, and just have one more left... leaving to drive back to Edmonton in an hour or so... yay. (not)
The course is really good, though, so at least there's that...
The above pics are from my main floor window, facing west.. you can usually see the outline of the mountains, but the setting sun is overwhelming the skyline a bit there... and the 2nd pic is me chilling on the couch with Dom and Seph!!

Happy week eveyone!

Ella's first Christmas

Hi Everyone,

I am posting 3 pictures of Ella.

She went to see Santa...she asked for Mom and Dad to win the lottery...LOL. and she got a Frosty the Snowman suit, so I have posted a couple of pics for you all to enjoy. We put her in the Jolly Jumper lots, she loves it and in there she stays out of trouble. She has a fascination with the curtains and with any and all cords, electrical, computer, shoe laces, yarn, so subsequently she has had her little hands spanked more than a couple of times. She also moves really fast when she wants to get something. She doesn't really crawl, she kinda moves like a worm, and pulls herself with her hands and pushes with her feet, whatever she sure can move when she wants to.

We hope everyone is doing well, and we miss you all.

Hi!
Hope everyone had a good weekend :)
I took Friday off of work, and Neil and I celebrated a friend's birthday by going out to a fancy restaurant... we had a great time.
We got out (real) tree this weekend and decorated it... it's a monster this year!! I'll take pics and post next weekend!
Other than that, we had a pretty low key weekend,, the calm before the Christmas storm..

I'm off to Edmonton for the next 2 weeks on a course, ... i'm excited about the course... but not about being in Edmonton for 2 weeks... at least its close enough that I'm home for the weekend! It's a pretty demanding course, so I probably won't have a lot of down time...

Well, that's my week... how was yours??
:)
Cheers!
Tara
