Ashton playing soccer...her turn in the goal (she likes it because she doesn't have to run) They have a game once per week and a practice once per week. Andria brings Brooklyn along as well! The kids have a good time and they have improved from their first game. Ashton and family at her dance recital.

We are at theLake ..got here Thurs before May long Weekend. Only hickup was the thermostat was pooched so had to get a replacement on Friday. We didn't get on the lake ...now it is raining and will be for a day or two..and cool in single didgets. We will be heading back to Stoon by Friday. It is pretty quiet and peaceful around here this time of year! Oh yea..the Memory trees servived the winter and hungry animals.

May long weekend.... we had a beautiful, very busy weekend!! The pics are from our visit from Ken and Marci with family... very good time was had by all... The top pic is Hannah cuddling up to my cat, Dom, then a picture of the 2nd cousins... Aiden, Hannah, Benjamin, Tate and Thomas. Followed by a pic of me and Tate and Hannah. and last, is a pic of the 1st cousins... (taken by one of the kids, so it's a little off centre! haha)

Other than this, Neil and I had a weekend of hanging out with frinds. I played my first round of golf... I'm great off the tee box right now, and that's about it!

Less than 2 weeks, and we're off to Belize for our dive trip!! getting excited!

I want to hear how everyone's long weekend went... and NOTHING is too boring !! :)

Tate and Aidan's birthday cakes that Aaron made and decorated. As you can tell they both really like Lego. Tate had four friends at his party and Aidan had seven. Eight 10-year olds and an 8-year old was too much in our house.  I think next year Aidan will be taking a few friends somewhere OUTSIDE the house for his birthday.

It has been 2 years today since Mom passed away... I will always miss her so much! We were so lucky to have such great parents, and a great mom :)

Hi!! sorry for the silence :) Neil and I got back from Vegas last week... we had a great trip... it was HOT, HOT, HOT!!! On race day it was over 40 in the dessert, and the day I went mountain biking it was 36 degrees.... we were steaming :)

The race went really well,, luckily I didn't run until after 11 at night, so it was a tiny bit cooler (like 29 ish.. haha)

Neil and I went to see a Cirque de Soleil show, "O" and we laid by the pool a little bit this year.

We also got together with our cousins Tyler and Andrea and had a chance to catch up with them a little bit, which was fantastic... funny how we have to go to Vegas to see family! haha...

So the pictures.... the top three are taken on the day I went out mountain biking west of Vegas... really beautiful country, I enjoyed it so much! I brought my pedals, shoes and helmet, and I rented the bike for the day!

The 4th picture is Neil and I enjoying a drink and cigar (Neil, not me) at the Rhum bar at the Mirage :)

and the bottom picture is of the group that we went out with on the race... all the girls are runners in the relay race, and Neil and the other guy, Steve, were our support crew out there!

Since we've gotten back, it's been cool and rain, rain, rain... I even went skiing in the mountains yesterday.... only a few more weeks for that activity!!
